Searches by general search engines, such as Google Scholar, may return results that are limited or that do not reach very far back into the records. For cursory results or beginnings this may be adaquate. Deep searches should be conducted on individual databases. | |||||
Super Search: Professional Information Search ServiceA Super Search is a literature and reference search done by a professional Librarian for a patron. The Librarian is the mediator between the information and the user. The advantage of a Super Search in todays world of shifting databases and expanded electronic resources is significant or even critical in that it has become far more difficult to know where and how to look for information, as well as know what the date and content limitations are associated with particular databases.
