Services
for UF Affiliates
UF faculty, staff and students may submit a web request for materials
not available in the University of Florida Libraries. Delivery
times vary: the average time is 2 to 3 days for articles, 7 to
10 days for books. Copy service of materials in the HSC Library
is available for UF Affiliates at the same rate. Alternately,
patrons may photocopy these materials. Photocopiers are present
on all floors. To avoid unnecessary charges, UF patrons should
check the UF
Libraries' Catalog to determine if the item is available electronically.
In addition to our in-house services, the UF HSC Libraries provide
Loansome Doc through the National
Library of Medicine / PubMed.

Services
for Non UF patrons

Non-UF patrons may request articles found in the HSC Library.
To save time, Non-UF patrons should check the UF
Libraries' Catalog prior to submitting a request. Orders
placed for items we do not carry will be rejected. Patrons who
request items often should use the Loansome
Doc service. Loansome Doc is the only way to request articles
not housed in this library.
