Encyclopedia of the Human Brain The Encyclopedia articles range in size from 5-30 printed pages each, and contain a definition paragraph, glossary, outline, and suggested readings, in addition to the body of the article.
  FreeBooks4Doctors A collection of more than 650 books that provide free online full text. This collection of books covers a variety of medical specialties. Does not require UF IP address.
  Gale Virtual Reference Library Includes multi-volume encyclopedias, biographical collections, consumer health references, and specialized reference sources.
  Harrison's Internal Medicine A popular part of AccessMedicine, it contains the full contents of the 16th edition of Classic Internal Medicine text. Updates are made regularly to this resource. Included at this site is the 16th edition of Harrison's Online Self-Assessment and Board Review.
  Knovel Library An aggregation of over 500 scientific and engineering references, including Perry's Chemical Engineers Handbook, and Lange's Handbook of Chemistry. Safety and hazard information is covered by titles such as DOSE, the Dictionary of Substances and their Effects, Sittig's Handbook of Toxic and Hazardous Chemicals and Carcinogens.
  MD Consult Core Collection Titles in this collection cover most medical specialties. Requires establishing a personal account and login.
  Merck Manuals One of the oldest and best selling medical manuals. Titles in this collection cover most medical specialties. The Online Medical Library is updated periodically with new information, and contains photographs, and audio and video material not present in the print versions.
  NCBI Bookshelf NCBI's collection of biomedical books and journals that can be searched directly by typing a concept into a search box and selecting one of more than 28 categories such as MeSH, Proteins, or GENSAT.
  NetLibrary Contains more than 43,000 book, journal and reference titles, many of which are biomedically oriented.
