The
Collaboration Center has dual large-screen monitors, touchscreen SmartBoard, whiteboards and teleconferencing.

An interactive touchscreen allows for dynamic exploration of an anatomical cross-section layer.
As the heart of the Health Science Center, the HSC Library plays a unique role in bringing all HSC colleges as well as UF research centers and institutes together by a combination of central location, neutrality, traditional content with improved electronic access, expert information science staff, leading-edge technology and critical information management tools.
The HSC Library Collaboration Center is a technology-enhanced room on our second floor with a large conference table and comfortable seating for 25. The room is equipped with a 65” Smartboard/projector, near/far teleconference screens and two giant whiteboards. HSC Library IT staff are working to expand standard videoconferencing capabilities by integrating the Access Grid network that reaches over 4,000 international sites. The HSC Library is also aggressively seeking partners to add a 8X10 foot, 12.5-million pixel visualization wall to the Collaboration Center so that interdisciplinary groups can make discoveries by visually manipulating relationships within large datasets through visual programming.
