Access
Guide
for University of Florida Faculty, Staff
and Students
| Can faculty, staff and students get access to the library
resources from outside UF? Sure you can! Here is what you have to do: |
Most library databases and ejournals are licensed
from service providers who restrict access to current
authorized UF students, staff, and faculty by detecting
the IP address of any computer attempting to connect. On-campus
computers are allowed access automatically. If you are off
campus you must connect through UF with EZproxy, GatorLink,
or VPN (See table below). Depending on the connection method,
you must have an activated
14-digit library number (barcode number) or a GatorLink
username/password. |
|
(GatorLink Account passwords are updated and deleted three times a year and you must renew your password)
There are 3 ways to get access to the
restricted library resources, such as the databases and e-journals.
