Patrons with Disabilities
In an effort to ensure access to the Health Science Center
Library Collection and services for physically disabled students, faculty
and staff, the HSC Library provides a number of special services. Persons
who wish to take advantage of these services must register at the
Circulation desk.
- Assistance in retrieving and using Library resources is available
at all Library public service desks.

For patrons with hearing impairments, call the Florida Relay Center
at 1-800-955-8770 (voice) or 1-800-955-8771 (TTY).
- Wheelchair access to computer workstations is available in the Informatics
Laboratory, the Informatics Classroom, and the Library. Photocopy
machines also are accessible to persons in wheelchairs but assistance
with photocopying may be requested at the Circulation desk.
- A Visualtec machine that enlarges print is available to
visually-impaired patrons in a second-floor carrel located near the
Reference area. Please ask for assistance at the Circulation desk.
