Welcome to the CINAHL Tutorial!
In 2003, Department of Academic Technology at the University of Florida began a Faculty Development Grant program, geared towards promoting innovative uses of technology in the classroom. This project is the result of a winning proposal seeking to provide a web-based tutorial that teaches visitors how to use the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL).

Due to time contraints and limited number of librarians available in the Health Science Center Libraries, it is difficult to teach students needing assistance in gathering information related to their field of study. This project makes valuable information accessible to anyone needing library support.
The web course offers interactivity in the form of narrated examples and click-to-learn tutorials. It also provides valuable information pertaining to CINAHL navigation and search strategies. We hope that you find this information useful!
