- The symbol * serves as a substitute for zero or more characters.
- For example: risk* retrieves risk, risks, risk-taking
- But, infection* would not get infection control because there is a space after the word infection
- Uses the first 150 variations with the root
- Turns off automatic explosion of MeSH terms
- Turns off term mapping
