Truncation

• Uses the symbol * as a substitute for zero or more characters
  • For example, risk* retrieves risk, risks, risk-taking
  • Use of the term infection* would not get infection control because there is a space after the word infection
• Uses the first 150 variations with the root
• Turns off automatic explosion of MeSH terms
• Turns off automatic term mapping
